We sing because we love singing. It’s also a way of raising our confidence — and of making new friends.
Our musical director is Frances Bernstein, who has led the choir since 2005. Her ‘day job’ is with Leeds Music Service, helping to widen participation in music.
Frances has several years experience of leading singing groups, and also writes and arranges songs for us and others.
She encourages the full use of everyone’s talents and several members have learned to lead the choir in certain songs.
